Serena Reno: Goddess of Love

She is the Aphrodite of Advertising. She is the Cupid’s catch of cross-channel marketing.  She is the ultimate Organic Goddess of Love.  She is. Serena. Reno.

Serena once recreated the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World in the Organic SF kitchen, using only cheese sticks and bagels.  Her Moleskin carvings are on display at the Museum of Modern Art and The Louvre.  She once told a rowdy herd of kidney tables to lie down and organize themselves.  And they did.   And one time, out of the corner of my eye, I witnessed her carefully removing crumbs of food from Brad Mancuso’s beard.

But for a lady-of-loveliness like the great Serena Reno, how do we measure the measure of love?  Why, the same way we do everything else around here.  Through Creativity Applied.

First, we partnered with the United Nations, NASA, the people who make candy hearts, and the entire cast of ‘Care Bears, the Cartoon’ to create our one of a kind, unique to Organic, lovetastic, lovestravaganza: Organic Love.  Organic love is our new, ubiquitous, digital recognition engine that lets every employee shout out about any other employee, easily and any time.  Then we made sure that Organic Love could be accessible to everyone.  Like Kenny G tracks or movies starring Zac Ephron.  But better.  Blue-er.  More Organic-y.  We made Organic Love part of our connective tissue, accessible from every desk, celebrated in every office, and so addictive that we may need to add floors, just to house all the love flying around these days.   We made the Love visible: with the click of a button, every Organic can see every piece of Organic Love sent.   Its readable.  Chartable. Trendable and Cloudable.  And finally, we put a sweet, Shirley Temple of a cherry on the top of Organic Love: we made it valuable.   Valuable even beyond that blush of pride that comes with an unexpected word of ‘thanks’.  We made that gorgeous soup of warm, fuzzy digital Love redeemable for real stuff.  So the better every Organic does, the more Love each Organic can get.  And the more Love each Organic gets, the more free stuff that Love can buy.  Its like Cupid with a credit card.

In the eight days since Organic Love launched, almost 850 pieces of Love have been sent.  That’s more than a quarter of our staff actively recognizing more than a quarter of our staff, every single day.  Love-a-licious.

As for Serena Reno, Goddess of Love, she has been among the top 3 most loved employees of Organic for eight days.  Why? Because we love her.  Because she is lovely.  And because that is what Organic is all about.
