With all the posts we had leading up to the holidays, someone had to break the ice with some holiday gift bragging. So I’d like to introduce you to Pierre — Pierre Noel Chomplins the Christmas cat, to be exact. And being a black cat, he’s good for Halloween too.

Getting Pierre was a total surprise, especially since my girlfriend requested that we make gifts for each other this year. She’s pretty crafty, but I am still not sure how she managed to make a kitten. I made her a wooden storage chest, and you’d be surprised how large 2×3 feet really is.

I know a lot of us got iPads. I also got a crock pot and a cold. What else did you get or give? Can you top a KITTEN?
