TORONTO — During the last month, I have learned four important things:

1.       There are many different types of moustaches

2.       Some men are just not meant to grow moustaches

3.       Growing moustaches can make some people very inventive and just a tiny bit crabby

4.       Organic TOR and friends continues to be a very generous group incredibly

Through our Movember efforts, we raised over $1,300 to support the fight against Prostrate cancer.

Many thanks to all who participated and supported.

Congrats! I am sure you were raising funds for the fight against prostate cancer though…..

Boy, I just realized looking at the two shots, there was some serious attrition here (although a couple of the mo men simply missed this photo opp). What I found most amusing about it was how it made some people look like they had stepped out of a period movie. Put an sleeveless sweater and a white collar shirt on John Ellis and he could have come straight from a DH Lawrence novel. A leather jacket and white silk scarf would be all that was required to convert Jim Borwick in “RAF pilot”. Me, the most common comment was that I looked “Peter Fonda-esque.” Aviator glasses and a chopper to complete the look?

I’m proud to have done it, but I will say, it was pretty uncomfortable and I could hardly wait to get it off again.
