After Audi's success of the A4 Driving Challenge on iTunes App Store, Volkswagen has teamed up with Fishlabs (http://www.fishlabs.net) to release Volkswagen Polo Challenge 3D. With stunning graphics, fast/addictive game play and 10 un-lockable stages - this app is sure to gain a long running top spot as Audi did. And yes, it's free.
There are a few stability issues being reported, but as all iPhone owners know this is common with new apps and a update to fix will most likely be out within the next week or two.

I donloaded it yesterday!! It is a simple game but it is very funny and challenging!! In Italy is in the top ten downloaded chart! :)

This driving game is SO much better than the Audi A4 driving game, which is very difficult to play and by design never lets you get that feeling of speed seen in the VW game here as well as other top iPhone driving games, like the FastLane app.
IMHO if a brand is going to create a branded app within a certain category, it really has to be 'best in class' and competitive with apps from other developers. That raises the bar for agencies and also requires more thought/game design for those efforts.
