Powerset: The Next Google Killer?

On Sunday, Powerset unveiled tools for searching Wikipedia that use conversational phrasing instead of keywords, marking the first step of its challenge to established Web search services such as Google. Powerset also has features that help you locate facts within articles "Explore Facts"; used to extract, navigate and explore.

I doubt it will challenge Google. Powerset's main innovation is Natural Langauge queries. This is just a new interface for Searching - not an actual improvement in the results delivered.

Until someone can challenge Google on the most important issue, relevancy, G will stay on top.

Until someone can challenge Google on the most important issue, relevancy, I think G will keep its lead.

Powerset's innovation is in building a semantic index by parsing and creating a full semantic representation of every sentence in every document it indexes. (For now limited to Wikipedia.) Natural language querying is an additional feature.
