I saw and then tried one of these in the Austin airport last week and thought it could be a cool techy way for us to go green in our own restrooms here at Organic.
Blowers blast germs throughout the restroom. You breathe it. Use a paper towel to dry you hands and hold on to it until you open the door with it, then drop it in the covered trash.

Did you have to wipe your hands on your shirt afterward? That's the true measure of a hand dryer.

They're also quite common in restrooms in Tokyo - and work well.

For people in Toronto: Far coast, near Bay and Bloor has one in their mens washroom. Go try it out if you happen to walk by. Colourful place overall.
