A new dance craze is sweeping France. It's called Tecktonik (tek-toh-neek), a mixture of HipHop and Techno dance. What started in a few nightclubs spiralled out of control once people started posting their dance moves to YouTube.

i know some art is purely a form of expression or communication.
what does dance say about culture? if it's an art form, what information does it give the viewer about the current state of affairs? If any...

hey ...so i'm french and i want to say that the tecktonik is a french dance..not for the crazy ..evreybody in france dance it !!( evreywhere) ..and it's a wonderful dance

I haven't seen any tecktonik videos done state-side. Maybe this is another trend like free running that will make it's way over here from France soon.
