Simpsonize Me is a newly launched “Web 2.0” tie-in with The Simpsons Movie release and – surprise! – the front end of a Burger King summer promotion. If it works the way it looks it does, I think it’s brilliant – there’s been a huge surge in traffic today the site is running pretty slowly right now – the nice tie in with BK’s “Have It Your Way” tagline, for example.

I got this to work, after about 6 hours!!! In my experience, the swirling donut should only take about 3 or 4 minutes, but I have a new computer. If the donut takes a long time (like an hour), then it will not load. I used an extreme closeup of my face so that my chin and top of my head touched the edges of the pic. you just have to be persistant! The site obviously has some problems. In my case I e-mailed the picture to two of my e-mail accounts. That worked! I also took a screenshot and saved it just in case the e-mails didn’t work. The simpsonized picture looks great!
On Monday, I made a Simpson, that wouldn’t save to file or to the profile I created just to try to save it. And it took hours to make it, because just changing the nose once took 14 minutes of loading time. Now the site always says come back later and the link, that I emailed myself for my simpson, is dead. Plus there is no tech support for this program that obviously doesn’t work like it’s supposed to. I really wanted a jpeg of my simpson, and now I can’t get it back or even make a new one. This sucks.
why didn’t you just print screen then paste into paint?
this is just a lame promotion to get you to go to this site and see the link to “Simpsons Movie” and Burger King – i keeps saying it’s overloaded and to “come back” – they should have thought about this when they adverstised it on The Simpsons on Sunday! i am pissed ‘cuz i wanna be Simpsonized now!!

it works perfrectly fine. u just have to find a specific time in which the traffic is very slim. Mine was at 11 pm

ive been simpsonized but i cant download the pic, ive seen others but i cant do it i need help!!!! how do i download the image, i spent all night trying to do so but nothin happens
I had success sporadically today (12AM PST, 10AM PST, 3PM PST). Loading the photos seem to be working better this afternoon, but for the past hour (6PM PST) I have been getting simpsonized women when I am trying to do a man. I did my whole family of 4 and managed to save 3 of the 4. I, too, was unable to save or e-mail the simpsonized character, so I did screenshots of them and then cropped and saved as a .jpg.
I Simpsonized myself at 10 this morning! It was working great! I made 5! Then I tried to do my friends because they were having problems….that’s when I had all the problems mentioned above! I’ll keep trying because now I’m addicted! They really need to hurry up & fix the website!…If you are having trouble seeing the whole screen-click on zoom on the bottom right hand side of the screen.Click it to 150%.Then you will see the scrollbars.
Wow, if the Simpsons marketers wanted to frustrate their fans, they managed to do it with gusto! Promise a neat “makeover”—but provide a shoddy site to do so. I’ve tried this about 10 different times – it simply DOES NOT WORK. I get hung up at “2-D Flatters you.” It shows my original… and a big ‘ole blank space where my 2-d cartoon should be. Bah! I’m so frustrated! And there is NO guidance to let you know why things don’t work!

I’m having the same issues!!! I can’t find a single pic to work. I reaaaaaaaallly want to be Simpsonized damn it!!!!!! I still don’t see any solutions. I resized my pic but I can’t get it resized to the exact specifications. What program do I use for this????

i’m going to try updating macromedia-adobe flash player to version 9, maybe previous versions didn’t support vectorial pictures.
