Bruce Herr and Todd Holloway of Indiana University, Bloomington have created an interesting visual representation of the most actively edited articles on Wikipedia. The hotlist shows the idiosyncratic priorities of Wikipedians: Adolf Hitler, Nintendo, Jesus, Britney Spears.If this was a true web app - which I think they are looking to turn it into, then it could result in a whole new way at searching for random information on Wikipedia!
