, texture|media, that did this very things ~ 6 years ago. we even had a complete info graphic card outlining instructions for the user that then pointed to a website asking how the user’s plant was doing in a forum-like display. people loved it.
great to see this linked here. i was part of a unique experience deisgn agency (seriously, go ahead- look it up w/in AIGA design archives
wish we would have documented it better as it would be great example to have now.
