Remember Everyday Noah?

In early September, one of our great ThreeMinds posters (Daniel), did an amusing post on Noah Kalina — the guy that started taking pictures of himself in 2000 and he continues today.  He turned them in to a short time-lapsed film you can view on YouTube.  After the post, I wrote Noah and asked him how he got the registration right on the photos and whether they were really in chrono order (his hair was all over the place).  He responded immediately and told me that his video would be on Good Morning America the next day, and indeed it was.

Noah added me to his fan club (yes, he as created one) and I got an update last week.  Noah has become a new media star.  His video went from YouTube  to Good Morning America to the CBS Evening News and then on the BBC.

This a wonderful emerging genre of film. Here are some other clips worth watching if you are interested:
Me: Girl, Jonathan, Sven, Jason, Tobias, Phil and Golberg. The one made by Jonathan is the most dramatic because he changes a lot in the film (thanks for sharing it Sean).

Imagine this: fast forward to when you are 65 years old and instead of showing your scrapbooks to your grandchildren you flip to YouTube, hit play and let them watch 65 years (27,000+ days) of your life pass in front of their eyes.

I think I’d like my movie more if I had started at 16…or maybe not.
