Creating Content for Frat Boys

Jackass Golly, I love English newspapers.  They treat both pop culture and sports with the same intellectual rigor that over here is reserved only for "real news".

No surprise then that the UK’s Daily Telegraph offers this erudite review of Jackass Number Two, as viewed in the wider context of the American tradition of gross-out comedies.  What is it about American young men, the writer asks, that makes them flock to the frat boy movie?  American males under 25 are the world’s most lucrative filmgoing demographic.

It’s important for us to think about, given how much of today’s rich media content is designed for (and created by) this same demographic.  And you need to read an article that manages to squeeze the word "shambolic" in a synopsis of Animal House, the film that started it all.
