There was a space in time when aspiring directors, producers and actors were hoping to get noticed in a Hollywood drug store, or if they were really fortunate their work would be showcased in a local film festival.
While YouTube is the space for the masses with a Webcam, anxious to capture the latest dance routines, two new sites have emerged that appeal to budding filmmakers. The sites offer film submissions from amateurs, as well as hosting professionally-made films from rising production companies.
If you’re a future director this may be your first step to the big screen.
