Mini and You

Taking the owners
site and moving it a bit closer to community by allowing their owners to
communicate with the manufacturer and each other.   It’s easy with brand like
Mini, but this site does it very well.

The experience
started by receiving a package in the mail which included your own decoder and
special glasses, directing you to the site.  I still haven’t gathered all the
clues to even know what it is about but it got my attention.  The site also
includes a sophisticated experience including the usual service information,
dealer information, connection to financial services.  But it goes further by
offering almost a MySpace for your car including feedback from other owners
about their vehicles, an owners forum, a place to upload your pictures and talk
about experiences with your mini, and finally a very unique program where you can sign
up for an ID,  place it on your car and then use it to communicate with other
mini owners through the site.

As an added bonus, Mini throws in directions to the nearest swimming hole!
