We’re pleased to announce an innovative new campaign for the 2007 Jeep Compass, a new, smaller Jeep aimed at younger urban buyers.
To promote the vehicle, Daimler Chrysler is sponsoring "Uncharted: The Jeep Compass Music Tour", a multi-city music tour of new and emerging artists headlined by G. Love & Special Sauce.
Each musician will go LIVE in
rocked-out, customized Jeep Compasses for a series of street concerts over the next four
weeks.
By the
end of it all, more than 300 shows will be performed across the country—in 40
different cities. Thousands will be entertained. And thousands will fall in love
with the Jeep Compass.
Rather than add content to Jeep.com or create a unique URL for the Uncharted Tour, we decided to promote the Compass exclusively on social networking sites, reaching our audience where they live online: at MySpace and Facebook.
At www.myspace.com/jeep, you can add Jeep as a "friend" to receive localized concert information, see video clips, download songs and AIM icons, and participate in discussions about Jeep or the bands.
Check it out for more information, to hear the artists, and sign up to be a friend! Read more from AdWeek here. Thanks to our partners at BBDO, PhD, and GMR.

I
G Love grew up a block away from me in Philadelphia. I used to babysit for him and his little sister.
Great job! I’m a huge MySpace advocate. It’s nice to see agencies cutting through all the misconceptions about MySpace and getting on the bandwagon. Can’t wait to hear some results for this campaign.
Hello! Good Site! Thanks you! mraoleulpcx
