What about the cost of invasiveness? Even if I get cheaper eggs, I will still have to spend that extra amount of energy to tune out more shitty opportunistic ads in unexpected places like my produce. Broadcast TV provides me with content because it's ad supported. Magazine subscriptions are inexpensive (especially if you buy on eBay) because advertisers want my eye balls.
