Most of my friends and coworkers and I have been delighted by the New York Magazine site redesign. It’s elegant, clean and extremely flexible. Ironically, I’ve heard several comments about how it took on a "blog look". Sign of the times, I guess. Speaking of which, this is an interesting article that got top billing on the home page today – "From Blogs to Riches: The Blog Establishment" .

New York looks good all of a sudden…
From Threeminds – launch of a fantastically cleaned up New York magazine homepage. On the scroll, you’ll find that it still gets overwhelming and the right sidebar seems to be a mismatch to the rest of the site, but -
I’d love to know what it is about the design that that looks like a blog. Seems more and more ’sites’ are being called ‘blogs’ no matter the type of content they publish.
