Leo Canada goes non-linear

A few things I like about this site:

- Playfulness
- Innovative navigation interface invites exploration and only takes a second to figure out
- Speed at which videos load
- Alternative nav system "for linear thinkers"
- Leo's quotes

Cool? Yes. Usable in the least? Nope. I'm all for being interesting and different, but the thing is too difficult to navigate and even the "linear" navigation for dummies is still inside the flash movie. Oh, and say goodbye to search engine rankings because there isn't any good text on the page.

But, maybe I'm just too critical...

Harlo:

I don't know, Chris, I agree with Charlie. The Leo site is definately the best site I've browsed in a long long time. I must admit, for, like the first 30 seconds of being there, i was a bit lost, but you do get a handy explaination and an alternative and more coneventional way of viewing the site if you can't stomach it. Once I got the hang of it, I loved it!!! And it's really really commendable that the video clips loaded so quickly and seamlessly, without interrupting the user's navigation of the site.
As far as search rankings, it's only fifth (with Threeminds coming in at #1), so not as bad as you thought.
